I was expecting to receive the actual book by Joel Osteen entitled Become a Better You as advertised. Instead I received a tiny 2" x 3" book with the same cover and title of the actual book but it was merely an extremely abbreviated version which I suppose one could carry in one's pocket or purse to review points made in the real book. I felt this was false advertising.

This is the best book I have ever read. It has helped me a lot.

If you want to feel good about your life and the direction it's heading, I recommend reading a chapter or two of this book. What I love about Joel Osteen's books and sermons is that they are joyful, optimistic, often humorous and preach without being "preachy." He has a real gift and charisma when it comes to the simple solutions to a happy life. Along with his book "It's Your Time," I find myself reading and re-reading a few pages at a time.to sort of "top off my tank" with spiritual affirmation. I bet you'll wind up reading it all. :)

I was extremely disappointed to see that the hardback version of this bestseller was a 3 inch abreviated book when I received it. The paperback version has 400 pages. It is not the full version as the paperback version being offered and reviewed is. When I contacted Amazon the rep said I should have seen that it was only 128 pages and that they listed the dimensions of the book. May I say who checks the dimensions of a bestseller book when buying from a reputable company like Amazon. I am sure this book is good as Joel's first book was so that is why I am giving it 5 stars, but Amazon needs to do a better job so when one reads the reviews they will know that the hardback version is not one being reviewed.In fairness to Amazon, they are refunding me the price plus a $5.00 credit.

The book came in a timely manner and I cant put it done. A great read and re-read
